Frills at sleeve cuffs and optional frill at front hips.
Front yoke.
Back opening with a button,
Binding at armholes for the tanktop version,
Dress at above-knee length,
Dress «skirt» to be linned depending on main fabric
A feminine look, either bohemian or chic
Convenient for all seasons

Sewing level :   Intermediate to difficult

Age range :  3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 years

Material suggestions:

  • Main fabric:
Cotton : poplin, light twill, batiste or double gauze,
Thin denim or chambray
Thin twill
Linen in summer
Cotton viscose or viscose 100%
Prefer thin fabrics to thick ones (not adapted for gathering)
  • Second Fabric:
Lining OPTION :
Poplin or batiste in cotton or polyester for the dress lining. The lining is necessary if your main fabric is a little transparent for any season or too thin for a fall winter season. No need for lining with the blouse
I made the samples in this guidebook with the following supplies:
